Stoneycroft

|
4 people Built by Trinity House at about the same time as the
Old Light, Stoneycroft is a charming butter-coloured cottage all on one
level. It appears in one of Mary Ann Heavens drawings of 1838, and was
probably used by Lighthouse inspectors visiting the island. Stoneycroft
stands close to the Old Light, sheltered by stone walls, on the highest
part of the island. With its airy rooms full of light, the cottage is
a very satisfying place for a holiday, compact and full of character.
